Colt Detective Special, First Issue, manufactured in 1933. S/N 422xxx. .38 Special, 2 inch barrel. Rounded butt with original grips. Grips are serial numbered and match the revolver. 1933 was the first production year for the Detective Special with round grip.
Bluing is a bit thin, but intact. Honest wear. Still locks up tight (let's see how tight you lock up when you're 82 years old). Still functions. I'd stay overall VG condition.
Grips are stamped "BCA" for Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension". The handgun was a officer trade-in and then purchased by me in the 80s from Streicher's Police Supply in Minneapolis area.

$850, plus shipping to your FFL. Or FTF (with PTC or PTP) in Minneapolis or Brainerd areas.
