Selling my Charter Arms Bulldog 44 special Mag-na-port Backpacker. It is 1 of 150-250 from what I could research, #110 of the run to be exact.
In the late 70's, Magnaport customized a small run of Charter Arms 44 Spec Bulldogs. They chopped the barrel to 1 1/2", took the front sight off, magna ported the barrel, bobbed the hammer, hard chromed the gun, did an action job, and added Pachmayr compact grips to it.
I had a link to another Magnaport Bulldog for sale for 1k posted here but it was removed, I guess it was against the rules but anyone interested can ask and I think I can PM you the link.
Finish on my gun is a strong 98/99%, a light cylinder turn line and a bit of light wear on the ejector rod. The gun locks up tight and the timing is right on.
Photos posted are the best I could get out of a dozen that I took. This is a final sale, no refund. I have sold a few guns and some magazines, boxes and other accessories on the S&W forum through the years and have never had a complaint but if you have any doubts just pass on this revolver.
I am asking $725.00 shipped and insured from my ffl to your ffl in the lower 47, sorry no sales to California. No trades.
Prefered payment is with U.S. post office postal money orders although I will also accept a certified bank check or money order but gun will not ship until funds have cleared. My bank says it could take up to 10 business days.
(edit) Asking $725.00 but make me a reasonable offer and I will consider it.
Thanks for looking!
