Want to sell a Smith & Wesson 7-shot model 386 .357 Magnum Night Guard. This is one of the discontinued series produced a few year's back.
Here is a link to the model information from Smith & Wesson:
Smith & Wesson 386
"Smith & Wesson introduces an innovative line of revolvers built especially for personal defense and concealed carry. These light-weight scandium revolvers with 2½ inch barrels come in K, L and N frames with choices in 38, 357 Magnum, 44 Special, 44 Magnum and 45 ACP calibers. Complete with XS Sight® 24/7 standard dot tritium front night sights and Cylinder & Slide Extreme Duty fixed u-notch rear sights, this line of personal defense revolvers offers a selection suitable for all personal defense needs."
Here are the photos of the actual revolver for sale which includes the factory box with original paperwork and accessories. There are areas on the edges of the trigger guard, front of the frame, and the right side of the muzzle in which a bit of the black finish has worn off. I haven't tried, but some Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black might partially restore these spots. However, I wanted to disclose this finish wear, and I have taken three pictures which show this to the best of my photographic ability (which isn't the best). Also, the flash exacerbates the light oil on the revolver, plus the difference in side plate color isn't as different from the frame in person vs. the photos.
I have fired this revolver maybe 50 rounds since I acquired it second hand, and the cylinder and forcing cone doesn't show any appreciable wear. I have no idea to the actual round count - please judge for yourself the condition based on the pics.
I am asking $685 <SOLD PENDING FUNDS>delivered USPS Money Order, and I will entertain trades of round-butt S&W models 10, 13, 64, and 65 plus cash on your end. I might be interested in S&W Performance Center trades of K and L frames depending on the model.
Please contact me with any questions, and I will try and assist as best I can. This revolver is cross-posted on another
site, so don't be alarmed if you see it elsewhere on the web.
