Looking to thin the revolver herd a bit. Both are great firearms, they just sit in the safe these days and I want the $$$ for other pursuits (aka, NFA stuff / accessories).
First, a S&W 640-1 / 357, 2 1/8 inch barrel. I bought it spring 2008, LNIB on consignment from "The Armory" in VA Beach VA. It came with the box (included), ammo, and some holsters - probably only had a couple of boxes through it when I got it. I've put no more than 500 through it, mix of 357 Magnum and 38 SPL, with no failures either before or after the trigger work.
I had Matt Almeda of The Revolver Armorer do some work to it in mid-2008 - trigger job and polish, light chamfer of the cylinders, and installation of a front night sight which shoots POA=POI for 125gr 357s and 135gr +P 38SPL - 158gr 357s shoot about 2 inches high at 10 yards. I put on Uncle Mikes Boot grips I bought from S&W direct.
I've carried it IWB a bit and it does have minor scratches here and there, but since I've got a 442 for pocket carry I haven't carried it in over a year. Looking for $550 shipped to your FFL.
Second is a 1953 S&W Pre-Model 18 22LR Combat Masterpiece (4" barrel and adjustable rear sight) - it has been used and is a great shooter. I bought it in 2007 from a dealer in Maine. Grips are not orignal but match what shipped with it. As you can see from the photos, it has wear on the barrel and frame, the grips have a small chip on the bottom left side. A Tyler T-grip is on it as well and fills out the grip nicely. All serial numbers match and it exudes quality of a bygone era. I love looking at it and the feel, as well as shooting it but it just doesn't get out much at all anymore. Looking for $475 shipped. SPF
Email me for more details, I don't get notifications anymore. Email me at APHAYES96 at YAHOO dot COM.
Payment via USPS MO and need FFL info as well, it'll ship from my FFL to yours, unless you are in the Panhandle of Florida for a FTF (will need FL D/L and do a bill of sale).
No trades at this time, except maybe a used USPc or P2000 / P2000SK in 9MM, not looking to add cash, so it'd have to be for both revovlers or a beater HK I guess. Also a Model 63 snub nose might work.
First to post an "I'll take it" here with no qualifications, followed by an email within 24 hrs gets what they ask for. Listed on multiple forums, so the time stamp will determine any simo runs.
Cheers,
Rhino
