Up for sale is another project I don't have time for any longer. It is a S&W model 28-2 with four-inch barrel that had some rust/corrosion on the right side of the gun and cylinder and the hammer and trigger. At one time after that, it has been refinished and was converted to round butt configuration. I used to have a set of wood N frame round butt grips on it. (see pic's) The old rust/corrosion shows through the finish now in some places. The trigger and hammer appear to have been polished, and the rear sight blade has been rounded. I think someone wanted a cool carry gun. The barrel is nice and clean and it all works like it should. The revolver is actually a nice shooter and comes with Hogue round butt rubber grips. The roll pin that holds the grip stirrup has been replaced with what looks like a nail. This would make a good fishing gun or a good candidate for a hard chrome refinish.
