(SPF)WTS: S&W model 17-8 ten shot revolver with 6" barrel. This is a pre-lock gun with a factory bead-blast matte blue finish and a black anodized aluminum 10 shot cylinder. This is a beautiful gun in very good condition with a few light handling marks. There is a scrape on the left top of barrel that you can kind of see in the pictures. There is also a long scrape on the left side of the barrel in front of the words, Smith & Wesson. I had a hard time getting this in the picture. You really can't notice it unless you hold the gun just right in the correct lighting, but it is there. This gun comes with the serial numbers matching original case and paperwork that you see. (SOLD)Up for sale is one you don't see very often. Here is a S&W model 65-3 with 3" barrel and square butt. I am guessing this started life as a 4" gun and at some point, had a 3" barrel installed. It was wearing a set of Hougue rubber grips when I bought it, so I didn't even notice it was a square butt gun until after I took it to the range and came home and cleaned it. It is a great shooter and is in very nice shape. There are some light handling marks, and a couple of scratches, but otherwise pretty nice. Most noteworthy being one mark is above the left side of the trigger, and another is on the right side above the S&W stamp. The grips are in very nice shape. The mechanics are fine on this one. Sorry, no box or paperwork with this.
