Will work for .22LR all the way up to .45ACP ball or lead.
These are portable steel plate racks with interchangeable upper plates and non changeable lower plates. The steel is mild steel, not AR-500 Armor plate. These are rated for Pistol caliber rounds 1300 fps and slower.
For Sale: $800 each or $1500 for both. Delivered free within 100 miles of Falls Church VA.
I designed and built these racks to last for years of standard use. I have racks still in use from 2007 that have had tens of thousands of rounds of pistol caliber and nothing has needed to be replaced. With pistol caliber rounds, these plates will last indefinitely.
With two people, one shooting and the other resetting the racks, the shooter can shoot indefinitely or as long as their arm or the ammo lasts.
The racks can be leveled to where a 22LR will drop the upper plates. Leaning the racks forward will increase the impact resistance (user customizable).
Both plate racks break down for transport. Everything dissembles. All the nuts and bolts are 3/4". You need one wrench to take it down or set it up.

These are currently stored. They have a bit of surface rust from use in the field since I moved to NoVa but if you want them to look like the photos I can paint before delivery. The photos were taken 1 week after final construction so they look nice and pretty.
I will consider pre-lock Smith & Wesson revolvers in trade.
