U.S. Firearms (USFA) Premium Grade single action in .45 Colt. This revolver features a 4 ¾” barrel, hard rubber grips, a cross-pin frame and nickel finish. USFA’s revolvers have many of the features of a pre-war Colt Single Action Army and are 100-percent made in the U.S.A. in Hartford, CT., just like the originals. Compare it with an original 1st Generation Colt and you can see the painstaking attention to detail that USFA puts into these, from the “cone” type firing pin to all markings in the original places, including the patent dates and the serial numbers.
USFA revolvers are so accurate that they are often used in Western movies, such as 3:10 to Yuma and The Assassination of Jesse James, to replicate original 1st Generation Colts. Many collectors and shooters consider USFA-built revolvers to be as good (or even better) than the Single Action Army revolvers currently made by Colt. Just search this forum for people’s opinion on these fine revolvers.
If you go on U.S. Firearms Web Site and “build” a revolver with these options the MSRP would be $1425. The nickel finish alone is a $275 upgrade.
This revolver is in good condition. It has been fired very little but shows some holster wear. I can supply detailed photos by e-mail.

- revolvers in .44 Mag. or .45 Colt with 4 inch or less barrel (prefer stainless): 625/629 Mountain Gun, 329, etc.
- Model 66 with 4 inch or less barrel
- Model 617 (prefer 4 inch barrel)
- K-frame in .357 with round butt and 3 inch or less barrel
- single-stack 9mm semi-autos (especially Third Generation, 3906, 3913, etc.) with decocker
Non-Smith Handguns
- Colt Python
- Freedom Arms: any centerfire model
- Ruger Bisley stainless .45 Colt with 5.5” barrel
- Ruger Redhawk .45 Colt/.44 Mag. stainless with 4” barrel
- Sig 228, 229 or 239 (9mm) with decocker
- “enhanced” 1911s
- other quality 9mm DA/SA pistols with decocker
Rifles
- Mannlicher Schoenauers
- semi-auto military-style rifles (ARs, AKs, MIAs,etc.)
These trades are plus cash/extras on either end as necessary and I will consider multiple gun trades. I will cover shipping and insurance to your dealer and you will do the same to mine.
