Winchester Model 70 in .30-06 from 1959

Model: 70

Caliber: .30-06 govt.

Finish: Blued, Walnut

Bore: Like new

Scope: Leupold Vari-X II

Serial Number: 447,XXX

Overall Condition: This is the nicest pre-64 Model 70 I've seen asside from a handful of unfired rifles. I've looked this whole rifle over and I can see 2 slight handling marks in the stock and the metal looks nearly new. This rifle was bought in Colville, 60 miles from me here in Spokane, in '60 and was owned by the same person until last month. You just don't see rifles like this anymore.

I'd like to trade this for a Colt SAA, Colt SP1, Colt AR-15 A2, pre series 70 Gold Cup NM, early Winchester lever action rifles.

I also have a pre-64 12ga Winchester model 37 that is in good condition with great wood. I'm open to trading this shotgun or selling it for $225

***GONE***So first off, I want to say this... This 1911 has taken me on a great sort of detective hunt.

What I have is a nice old 1913 frame and internals
And a 1918 Colt-A. J. Savage slide.

The frame is marked with the WGP inspectors mark which is correct for the serial number which is No475XX. The "US Property" mark looks to have been taken off when it was refinished long, long ago.

The slide has the single block, 3-line address on the left side and "Model OF 1911.U.S. ARMY" on the right.

The firebluing on the grip screw heads, slide release, safety and trigger can still be seen.

The stocks on it are not the diamond stocks I've seen on others of this era, but are still hand checkered and look to be a very red walnut.

This 1911 functions flawlessly.
I'm not looking to sell it as I don't know what to ask, so please don't ask for a cash price. I am looking for trades of antique Winchesters and Colts as well as others. I'm open to pretty much anything nice.

I would also be willing to trade for a high end assault rifle. Open to items from Colt, HK, Sig, FN, Remington, LMT, Noveske, Springfield.

***To throw a trade value out there, we'll say $1,500***

I also have these two to trade for a 642 or something like that.

I have a pretty fairly rare Marlin model 70HC .22 semi-auto rifle. The HC stands for heavy carbine or high capacity depending on who you ask. It has a nice little Tasco scope and a heavy little barrel on it. This thing is a complete tack driver! It comes with one 7 round magazine, but they make 15 round and 25 round magazines for it. The rifle is in great shape!!

12 gauge made by High Standard and sold by Sears as JC Higgins. High Standard called it there RIOT GUN model. It is a 20 inch barrel. Someone before me paid a gunsmith to thread the inside of the barrel for choke tubes. They did a very nice job. It comes with 3 choke tubes and since there is no trigger reset you can slamfire this model just like the Ithica model 37. The wood on this shotgun is Very nice. It has a sort of silver inlay on the bottom of the buttstock. This shotgun is in amazing shape and the action is smooth as glass. The bolt is also jeweled.

I can text or email pictures.
