I lucked out yesterday, went to another little show on Sunday, and came across a gun that I passed on two weeks ago at another show. This time I took a 17-3 along for trading fodder just in case. So now I'm down one heavily shot but well taken care of .22 and up a like new 2" model 10 no dash .38spl. I'm almost sure this gun hasn't been shot. It makes a nice pair with my 10-2. They are only a year or so apart 1960 and 1961ish.

Can anyone help me with what boxes these would've been in. I'm thinking the blue with the solid silver border. I'm guessing these boxes don't turn up too often since they didn't seem to use them too long before the Bangor Punta boxes started

Very Nice Pickup my Friend. A very nice piece of S&W History! I have a 10-5 in nickel square butt, and a 10-9 round butt and love them.
