Got the same earlier this week at my local WW. Later in the week went back and found the 115 grain gone, but a few boxes (of 50) of the 147 grain JHP. Got a box just to try out and have some around for personal defense. Same WW also had some Remington UMC 115 grain (box of 50) for $10.47. Got a couple boxes of that as well.

Blazer brass is $8.97 a box. This is good stuff, I prefer it to Win WB.

I went to WalMart today for ammo. They were out of .22LR as well as ALL handgun ammo. What the heck is going on?

I like to mix it up a little and buy all the shotgun shells. Just doing my part to spread the panic, and if Night of the Lepus ever comes to pass, at least I'm ready for those wascally wabbits.
Anyway, the Walmart in Fredericksburg had a decent selection of pistol ammo in stock - the one over by the mall when I was last there. Stafford has done an okay job of keeping .45 ACP and .223 FMJ in stock, but is usually out of everything else.

What a difference a week makes. They are all out of WW 9mm white box. They have Blazer brass 9mm, but didn't ask the price. Gun show at Dulles Convention center on the 24/25/26 April; wonder if there will be any good sales in ammo? Last show most of the inexpensive stuff was sold out or price way out of line.

Try the Fredericksburg Walmarts off exits 133 and 126. The ammo is behind a case that isn't always manned, so sometimes you'll still find it in stock. Stafford is down to just shotgun shells and odds and ends of .22LR as of yesterday. (I bought some of the last of the .22 while I was there. Just doing my part to keep up the shortage.)
They did restock the game loads in 12 gauge if anyone wants to go clean those out.
