How bout an 8 shot 44 magnum, or even a new 44 maximum on the giant x frame

Plus one vote for an 8 shot .44 X frame. Make it able to go .444, like Valkyrie says, and it would be such a novelty they'd probably sell like hotcakes. I wonder if its even possible...

.444 Marlin should not fire .44 Remington Magnum ammo. .445 Supermag is what you are asking for.
