Oh well so much for me doing away with using plated bullets. I just got in 250 125gr FP and 500 158gr RNFP so guess I will be shooting my GP-100 a lot. Don

Sorry for your situation :-) I would be more than glad to dispose of all those nasty plated bullets for you; I just received 500-40 cal. 155 gr. and 500-45 cal. 200 gr. myself. I'll just mix them in with mine-no problem! LOL

And that GP-100-go ahead and send it too; that should keep you from ordering any more of those plated bullets. No thanks necessary-glad to help! :-)

Guess I'm in it worse LOL Received 500 Xtreme 148 WC's and 500 158 SWC's................cause I couldn't make up my mind:)

Now about that GP100???? ;)

Hope you got powder too!
Karl

I have a bit of sympathy for the UPS guy so I limit my bullet orders to under 50 lbs. With 45 ACP that's about 1500 bullets and with the 125 grain 38 specials it's about 2500 bullets.

Xtreme plated bullets

Oh yeah... That's what I'm talkin' bout too !!

I've been very happy with X-Treme bullets. Never thought I'd stop using cast bullets, but prices between the two are so close; I just buy the plated. As stated above, "no mess, no fuss", especially in 9mm, 40 S&W and 45acp. Free Shipping this weekend for Mother's Day, so I suppose I'll place another order :-) Can never have too many bullets! LOL

Loaded 250 230gr. RN last night. Headed to the range in about an hour. My son is coming so I guess I'll be coming home with 250 pieces of twice fired brass.

GP 100.jpgYou guys wouldn't want this it's a Talos Limated Edtion.

I like X-treme bullets. I use their .429, 200 grain copper plated bullets in my .44 Special. Then I resize the same bullets to .427 for loading into .44-40 cartridges for my Winchester 1892.

Think you've got it bad, I live 3 miles from the factory. Extreme is 90% of what I shoot.
My guess is that this is mostly typos. The other option is that you guys are talking about two different companies

Extreme plated bullets are made in South Africa
X-treme plated bullets are made in Idaho

I see both companies mentioned in this thread

I have yet to try the 125 plated but have used the heck out of
the 125gr lead bullet for a great X-Lite target load in the light
J frame 38 snub nose revolvers for the girls to practice with.

Bullseye, Red Dot, w231, Trail Boss, Universal and even SR4756
can get this bullet to around 600 fps that is accurate and even
has LESS recoil than a factory 148gr target loading.

In a 6" barrel accuracy came with 4.0grs of Green Dot at only 840 fps with 125gr lead RN.

You should do well with those plated bullets.

Been shooting xtreme plated for the past couple of years almost exclusively in 124gr 9mm and 230gr 45acp. Always consistent.

I just loaded my first .357 Mag using the X-treme 158gr RNFP plated for my GP-100. I am running chrono test on them in the morning to see if there is any difference in using WSP primers and not WSPM. First test loads are 5.3gr of CFE Pistol bullets seated to the can which give a COL of 1.535. Also testing CFE Pistol over the chrono 10 shots each with the gun pointed down first for each shot then 10 pointed up. Don

Xtreme has something on special, almost every week. Usually 5% off. They do the free shipping thing about once a month, or so.
