Well, guess it's a no-go on XS sights for a Sigma.. Got the word back from Bo Wallace at XS..

"Sorry but the SIGMA sight cuts are their own unique size and shape.
Back when the SIGMA first came out we did make sights for it, but after a couple of years demand ceased and about 3 years ago after several years of no sight requests for that model we discontinued them and have none left in stock. In the last year we have been getting the occasional request for SIGMA sights. I will put down yours and if this keeps up we will add them back into the line. All I can say right now is check back at the end of the year."

I know it's a moot point, but why would S&W put some unique size/shape cuts in the Sigma slide? Seems like making a gun "more" adapative to aftermarket sights, grips, etc. would make it more easily marketable.. Oh well, guess I'll have to live with the stock sights for now, although Im gonna have to find something along the lines of night sites here shortly, as I cant see the stock sights at all in the dark, and this is my only SD/NS (night stand) gun..

Mick,
When you find out the big boys don't produce something, is when you need to get creative. Tooltech can install the Tritium vials for you, into the standard iron sights (provided they have enough meat to allow it?) if the night sight capability is what you were after? If your after a big ass dot, w/o Tritium? Try a blob of porcelain appliance touch up paint, available at any hardware or home improvement store. And it's much more durable to cleaning solvents than standard paints. To up the speed ante further. Widen the notch in the rear blade with a pillar (one edge "safe") file.
YMMV?

If you are looking for a good set of night sights for your Sigma, MMC makes an adjustable combat rear sight and front sight for it. They list many color options and placement of the vials.

Thanks for the tips Spotteddog!! After doing some research, Im not as fond of the big dot as I once was.. But their 24/7 sights did have me very interested..
Sorry, but Im not familiar with that one?

Also, thanks for the info GWC!!

Your right though, about the B/D concept not being correct for everyone? I purchased and installed a B/D on one of mine. It was as fast as a chicken on speed, but limited my accuracy enough to make me uncomfortable with it. It's like certain grips, that only work for certain people?
