Yes the 15-22 + SlideFire works on stock springs..

Yea, I would like to see where you found a $400 trigger at. Bending FCG springs on even a .22 is dangerous. You do not know how that trigger is going to react. $200 is a small price to pay for safety IMO...

Thanks for watching out for me, but I assure you that the rifle was properly tested before it went to a range and I am certainly not the first to do the bent leg hammer spring trick.

And accuracy really isn't a priority when using a slide fire. It's all about dumping ammo. If you want accuracy then use a regular stock.

You can somewhat aim, especially in bursts, and especially the 22. The 223 on the other hand.... The red dot helps, but you gotta get used to trying to watch the dot as its "vibrating" around when shells are flying. You can always just start shooting and adjust your aim in the second and a half it takes to dump a mag lol

Ok, children listen to the "old man." My new 15-22 has the yellow springs and the 50 cent set screw to take the slack out of the factory trigger. The hammer notches were lubed with moly wheel bearing grease on a toothpick, ( I always use this stuff). I shot Federal bulk, Winchester 550 and Remington Yellow jackets with a borrowed slide fire. All worked 100%. No lub on the slide at all. Save some money and do it my way, it works!
