Something that has caught my eye recently, that I can't remember ever noticing before when examining a Smith has me a little puzzled. I have looked at two N frames recently, one is a private party and the other is at a LGS that I am interested in buying...
When looking at the left side of the revolver near the top of the yoke where the extractor rod passes through, with the cylinder closed, the yoke to frame gap gets bigger from front to back (Left to Right). Functionally, the cylinder maybe feels slightly harder to open then normal on both but hard to say. Is this the tell tale mark of a bent yoke or just bad fitting based on my kinda vague description
Thanks!
Edit: Attached a crude photo representing the gap I am describing.
