These were bought new, unpacked, used in the house a couple times for comparison's sake, and then repackaged. I wanted to try a 10x pair of binoculars, but will stick with what I have. Again, these are in new condition, but the packaging has been opened. Zeiss lifetime warranty is fully transferable....so no worries about not being the original buyer.
