Anybody ever try these ? The price is right and I'd love to try some in .357 but they're always sold out .

I have used them in 40 and 9. No issues. My LGS has them a lot. I haven't used them in a while as copper plated is a lot cheaper to buy.

I have never shot their lead bullets but I have shot their jacketed bullets, especially in 9mm. IMO they are high quality bullets and are accurate in my pistols.

Zero Bullets

I got a bag (250) of .40cal 165gr JHP at the big gun show (Alabama Shooter Supply) for $35 & the quality is very good. Wish I would have gotten the 500 qty. box now. Competitive price & uniform consistency from what I've observed.

They are the only ones I use in my .357s, and they are good ones. I am completely satisfied after loading and firing a bunch of them.

Regards,
Andy

Zero bullets were among the first jacketed handgun bullets I ever used. Young and dumb, I loaded them hot for my 6" 28-2. They shot like a lazer beam. Extremely good bullets. The 125 gr. JHP's expanded very effectively.

Zero Bullets

I've used them a lot for targets in 9mm, 357/38, 40, 45 and they work fine. my only issues were finding reloading info specifically for zero's and the "jackets" are real thin & can be scraped off easily if they get rubbed/scraped on something. (are they really just plated?)Much unlike a hornady xtp for example, but for targets they are fine. Don't think I'd use them for hunting or s/d though.

They used to be very popular in IDPA and USPSA and I have used the 9mm 124g for a number of years. Problem is they have not been available anywhere for probably two years. Probably why this year on IDPA nationals survey they fell to last place for bullets used and Berry's is now number one followed by Montana Gold. I'm down to the last of my stash and probably going to have to switch to something else. Rumor had it they put all their capacity into big contracts and their own ammo line. The Roze distribution site says if your a existing customer send an email to get on waiting list. Good luck with that. I did it probably a year ago and nothing. BTW at least for me and 9mm they have been quality jacketed bullets and not plated. Never had a problem or thought they had a thin jacket.

Zero has jacketed bullets AND plated bullets. Never tried the plated bullets. I don't do enough shooting of my reloads to feel I need to go to the lower priced plated bullets.

I've used their 230gr FMJ, JHP, and 185gr JHP, all in .45acp. Good bullets...but as others have said, good luck finding some. I still have a good number of all of the above...but unless things change, when I run out, I'll be switching to something more available.

They're website practically always says old out but I ignore it. I ordered some 9mm and 45 a few months ago at the hight of the shortage and received them about 3 weeks later. No complaints. I think they spend their time getting out orders and not updating the website. Fine with me, you go elsewhere and leave more for me.

I wasn't aware Zero made plated bullets. Can you please link to that page because I can't find them on the site.

Sir,

I can't explain the difference between your experience and mine, but I ordered 125gr. .357s more recently than that, and they were delivered here within 3 weeks or so.

I just bought 2,000 40 cal 180 TCFMJ's from Target Barn in Toledo, OH

I USE ZERO BULLETS A LOT. THEIR .45 CAL 185 JHP ARE EXTREMELY ACCURATE WITH 4.4GR VV310 OR 4.7GR WST.
THE .45 230 FMJ ARE GREAT ALSO. 6.2GR WSF. THE ONLY 230GR FMJ MORE ACCURATE ARE THE SIERRA 8815 BUT COST 60% MORE.

THE SWAGED 38 148GR HBWC AND 158GR ARE TOP SHELF.

IN 9MM THE NEW STYLE 115JHP ARE VERY ACCURATE ONLY 115 GR XTP ARE APP1/8" BETTER.
IN 9MM THE 115GR FMJ ARE GREAT TOO. SIERRA 8115 HAVE A SLIGHT EDGE AT 80% MORE COST

ALL WERE RANSOM REST TESTED AT 50YDS BY MY IN SEVERAL GUNS.

You won't, I think, be sorry if you buy some. I've used their 130 grain .38/.357FMJ's and .45 230 grain FMJ's. Good quality and fair pricing. E-mail them with your wants and shipping info, with a phone number. They will call you when your order is ready and take your payment information. The wait was, as I recall, fairly short.

Last night their website showed all jacketed bullet calibers in stock so I placed an order .
