I use their round nose, also the 148 hbwc. Zero is my first choice for anything I reload. They have had to raise prices in the last year but so has everyone else.

I have been been happy with their bullets. I also like their loaded ammunition but they haven't had any in last couple years.Their wadcutters are accurate in my guns.

I have used them in the past and they were fine - a bit soft though. A few years back I started using Penn's Polymer coated bullets. They do cost a little more but have no lube (doesn't need any) and therefore smoke a whole lot less which I really appreciate when shooting indoors. They are also a lot cleaner to handle and I no longer have to deal with lead all over my hands and dies. They seem pretty accurate as well.

If you shoot mostly outdoors lead works OK - just wear Nitrile gloves when handling them and wash up thoroughly afterwards. I've still got tons of lead bullets in my inventory to load.

Finger cots on thumb and index finger works good too. More comfortable tha rubber gloves in hot weather.

They are good bullets but because of being "swagged" they are on the soft side ... use data for swaged bullets or starting loads for cast bullet data .
Don't push them too hard and watch the bore for leading .

Thirty years or so ago I shot a bunch of swaged (one g) HBWCs from Zero. They were sorta knurled on the side and lubed with what looked like wax and powdered white mica. They worked very well in my PPC guns, but I was later told that company, which was in SW Ohio IIRC had gone out of business. Are these SWCs from the same Zero outfit or somewhere else? How about some contact info if you don’t mind?

With our old Gold Cup, we are down to our last 500 of the Zeros.
200gr SWC at slow speeds with BE.
Accurate.

Zero’s are sold by Roze Distribution, they are (and I think always has been) in Alabama. I like it because it only takes a day or two to get to Dallas. My only complaint, their machine that makes FMJ 45 ACP broke a couple of years ago and they haven’t been able to get it fixed. Apparently a very old machine that no one works on.
