Zombie Ammo

Just curious if anyone is carrying zombie ammo? I saw a box in the gun store the other day and was just curious about the stuff. Oh yeah, will it work on bears? Lol

IIRC it's really the Critical Defense ammo with a different colored insert and some VERY clever packaging. So, it'll work quite well as a carry load but IMO the bullet weight might be a bit light for a bear. Personally, I'll admit that I fell for the marketing and purchased a box of the 40 and 45 caliber. I really should know better at my age but it really is a superb bit of marketing and it wasn't hugely expensive.

I was in walmart the other day and saw Zombie Hunter magazine, full of AR-15 junk....and techniques for zombie slaughter.....I like a good zombie movie, but...I think the Ammo and the Magazine might present a bad image to kids about guns and gun safety....its all to commercialized.....my 2cents....

hd, I follow what you're saying but I seriously doubt that Hornady's ammo will make any appreciable impact on our youngsters(accidental play on words). Have you seen the video games they play on their game consoles? Killing is old hat to some of them in the virtual world.

I own a box of .223. Z-max, just in case.

Nothing wrong with having a reasonable amount of Zombie ammo on hand. I cant say whom I am most impressed with at Hornady; The little guy who had the marketing idea or his boss who approved
