ZQ1 Ammo any good ?

I haven't dealt with the 7.62 but the 5.56 has a steel core but in another thread about this ammo someone said the 7.62 wasn't magnetic. I also notice their web site is gone so they may not being imported anymore or just don't have their web site anymore, but I could be wrong.

I've gotten groups just over 1" with some i bought awhile back. Picked up some more on the way to the range last weekend and was getting 2 to 3" groups in 40° light rain, good enough for me. Zero malfunctions or issues, good practice ammo for the price.

The 5.56 is magnetic and the 7.62 is not magnetic. I have both but have not yet used the 7.62. I can say the 5.56 is quite accurate and I had no issues with it. I expect the same results from the 7.62. Looks like quality ammo at only $.50 per round. 20 rounds of 7.62 for $9.99 and the 5.56 is 30 rounds for the same $9.99, or $.33 a round.

I never thought I'd see the day when ammo at 50 cents a round was considered a bargain. As a kid, I reloaded my own ammo because $5 for a box of 20 was more than I could afford! What interesting times we live in
