I've been looking for years to find a Smith revolver that was manufactured in 1939. If you think you have one that you would be willing to sell and you're not sure it was made in that year, you can PM the serial number to me together with finish, barrel length and caliber and I'll check it out with definitive sources. A picture would be appreciated. A roughly estimated serial number range for .38 special M&P revolvers would be about 575,000 to 600,000. Many thanks!
