Default WTB: Dan Wesson 15-2 Original Stocks

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for an original wooden stock with medallions for a Dan Wesson 15-2. Need the grip screw to come with it.

I'm in Canada, so if you have them for sale I'd need them shipped up here and would like to pay by Paypal.

We can determine a price you think is fair based on condition.

PM me if you have one you'd like to sell.

Thanks,

Jason Priest

Since your model 15 is a 2" are you looking for the service stocks? Or are you looking for any wood DW grips for the small frame?

The model is a 15-2, but the barrel is not 2". It's actually 8".

It will have plastic grips on it when it comes and I am keen to have wood. I am interested in either service or target stocks for it. I would like them to be factory original with the DW logo medallions.

Thanks,

JP

Truthfully I do not keep up on the 357 Magnum DWs.

Traditionally the number left of the dash on DWs is the model, the number on the right of the dash is the barrel configuration.

A 41-6VH is a 41 Magnum with a Vent/heavy barrel shroud.
A 40-8S would be a 357 Maximum with an 8" barrel and slotted shroud.

A 15-2 should be a 357 Magnum with a 2" standard barrel shroud.

What you have coming should be designated a 15-8 with either no suffix or a V or H or VH depending on which of the four barrel shroud styles are on it.

I might have a set of smooth stocks for the small frame. I will check. Not sure if I have an extra screw. Is there a problem with the one the revovler is being supplied with?

I think the model designation is 15-2. Mine will have an 8" barrel, not a two, so target stocks would be great, but factory wood of any kind would be preferred to the plastic it's coming with.

I will have the screw with the plastic grips, but I might want to sell them at some point and will want to send the screw with them. Also, not 100% if different screws are needed depending on the type of stocks.

Here is a photo of the stocks I'd like to find.
