Default S&W Victory

I needed a reason to buy this one. The only reason I came up with is that I don't have one. V170188. It's has some wear, but functions excellent.

The only stamp I see is a flaming ordnance bomb on the butt. Any details or comments would be appreciated.

Thanks

You don't have one? That is reason enough to buy one. Mine is like yours only a bursting bomb on the butt. Bought today, Victory Model, What have I got?

AJ's old thread really has all the info you can get without a letter giving the specific destination. DSC or Maritime, late 1942.

Original or repro swivels can be easily found at Numrich or on auction sites.

Nice Smith but you need to get rid of the jbweld in the grip and install a nice lanyard ring.
