Sold my full size M&P 9mm
So.... today I decided to sell my full size M&P which is an amazing handgun. I also have the Compact and the Shield, which to me are very close in performance other than their size.
I picked up the new M&P 380 Bodyguard, and a Ruger LCR Snub Nose .38 Special Revolver..... which I have had my eye on for a while now. It's kind of like having a kid leave for college and getting two new puppies at the same time !

I used to do that; sell a gun I wasn't using to buy something new and exciting. Then later on the regrets settle in and suddenly the market shifts and prices go up. Then I end up paying $50 more to get back the same model I sold. Now I will only sell a gun I don't like and won't use. Which is few and far between.
But to each his own. Enjoy your new guns!

I just put my FS 9mm and one of my 1911s on consignment today. I also have a 9c which for some reason I shoot better than the FS. I like the FS but it had been sitting in my safe for a year so I finally decided to let it go. I also replaced my Shield 9mm with an XDS 9mm. I just couldn't get comfortable with the Shield grip. The grip on the XDS has a tad more body than the Shield, and for me is much more comfortable. To be honest part of the reason for letting both go was to help cover the cost on the Springfield EMP 4" lightweight champion 1911 I just ordered.
On the issue of seller regrets, I have the same issue with motorcycles, but not guns - so far. Can't think of a motorcycle sale I did not regret. In fact, I have purchased the same bike twice on five occasions (FJR1300, DR650, VX1400, CBR1100XX, and XV1000S). The sorry part is I also sold them twice and would buy them all again for the third time if I had the money. I have finally committed to never selling a motorcycle again. Currently have 4 in the garage.

I too only sell the ones I don't like which rarely happens. Right now,,I'm considering selling one of my 1911's in order to get one of the new ported shields, but doubt I'll ever sell my M&P full size 9.

For you it's cycles, for me it's guns. Sometimes I lay in bed at night and think about guns I sold that I will never be able to replace. Like the two S&W CS9's that I had back when no one wanted them and I sold for $300 each a year or so before they became all the rage. Now for me to sell a gun I better either hate it or have more than 2 of them. Just the same I am not selling my motorcycle for any reason either.

If I didn't compete in USPSA and IDPA occasionally I would have sold my m&p9 FS a long time ago and replaced it with a 45c.
