I ordered and they were paid by my CC on May 16. They do not answer the phone.
They do not respond to emails.

Called 6 times over 3 weeks. Pre recorded message and they have no ability to accept a voice message. It says to email for response.

Emailed six times asking if order went out.

Nothing.

Never again. Their stuff is ok, but not the " be all, and end all"

Try to buy "Buy Made in America" and be blown off with worse customer service than when someone who can't speak English answers the phone in Pakistan! At least they pick up the phone....answer emails.

What else do you guys use to store stuff long period. Their stuff is not even sold by outside vendors anymore. They want the whole cake, and to be able to abuse the customers with non service, I guess.

NO MORE BORE STORES. Arrogance by non responsiveness.
Horrible people to deal with. Take your money, send you nothing, and not talk to you.

I've bought a lot of socks from them over the years. In fact, all my guns are stored in them.

They seem like good folk.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Their voice message says they are four-weeks behind.

I'm wondering if it's pandemic related.

I've had an order in with the CMP since Feb. 1st. I called them the other day and the poor girl said because of COVID they are months behind.

Saying a prayer for the Bore-Store family and you too, my friend. :)

For long term, defined as years, I don't think Bore Stores are the answer. I used ZCorr, looks mylar on the outside and some sort of rust inhibitor on the inside, successfully in a humid climate for over five years storage. It's fully sealed. ZCorr may be out of biz now, but surely there are similar products available.

So you never received the order?

No, I have not. I know, I know...call my CC company. I will. Just want people to know they are horrible to deal with. This is just crazy.

WARDEN- EVERYTHING is not pandemic related anymore. Sick of hearing it. Seems to be the new excuse for everything.

Is not answering the phone pandemic related? On the message it SAYS to email for responses. THEY DON'T ANSWER. Is that pandemic related?

Good Folk? More like arrogant folk.

Made in America.....

Would have at least gotten them if they were made in China. The "pandemic" Doesn't seem to have slowed THEIR manufacturing.

These are some of the 40 that I ordered from Phoebe.

Great product, great service.

And, from payment to delivery was less than 10 days for the forty.

I would do it again in a heart beat.

I wax my pistols and place them in Bore Store socks sealed in a plastic container (Tupperware type) with desiccant packs thrown in.

This method has worked well for me. It makes for easy access and transport too.

They stack well in the safe and are labeled. The containers also have any pertinent accessories, special tools, magazines inside them.

I imagine they are affected by the same "Covid" problems as many other industries. I ordered powder coated bullets awhile back and was informed it would be 14-16 weeks for delivery, (it actually only took 8 weeks but they were allowing for a potential "exposure" and the subsequent cleaning and quarantine time).

Wife and I just ordered a new sofa, and were told it would be 24 weeks for delivery. I'm hoping they are hedging their bets the same way and it weill get here in half that time.

Just think if your business would have to shut down for 2 weeks every time an accidental exposure of your employees happened. Let's all hope this nonsense is about all finished with.

Bore Stores …. Still taking people’s $$? FRAUD?

So, on May 9th I ordered $143.75 worth of Bore Stores from the company website. Almost 3 months later no product. Gave them the benefit of the doubt… COVID, Supply Chain issues, etc. Recently sent a couple emails, no response. Tried calling the phone number and it appears non-operational. Opened a dispute via PayPal today. Then, I saw some info online, including this thread, where folks have had the same issue for over a year.
My next call will be to my credit card company. If they are continuing to take in customer funds, providing no product or communication, that amounts to FRAUD. We’ll see.

Definitely call your credit card company...they will refund your money and challenge the merchant to dispute the refund.

That is sad to hear.
I have used their products for years and have always had good service.
Just have not needed anything from them the last three years.

@2Late, welcome to the forum. I hope all is resolved satisfactorily for you as fraud is a harsh label to stick on a seemingly reputable company. ✌

Thank you, Rusty1953. It is a harsh label for sure and I don’t throw it around lightly. I’ve purchased bore stores from them on 3 occasions over the past twenty years. A reputable company at one point, but again, when you take people’s money with no intent to provide the product or communicate in any manner, and have done this repeatedly over a long period of time, that is Fraudulent behavior.
On another note, have been shooting Smith revolvers since the late 70’s. Glad to be part of the forum, despite the issue that brought me here.
