Early last year, I started to practice one handed precision shooting, after shooting two handed for 34 years. I bought a used and cheap Hämmerli 280.

Unfortunately an out of battery detonation had catastrophic consequences

I borrowed the slide of the club's loaner for the rest of the season. However I decided to upgrade to something more modern and found a great deal on a Pardini SP22. The seller bought in in September 2021 for almost $ 3000, and sold it in October for $ 2000 after firing 150 rounds with it.

I've only shot it a couple of times. Outdoor season starts tomorrow, I'll get to practice more with it, especially at 50 m.

Bummer on the Hämmerli! Awesome deal on the Pardini though!

I've had an older one for some time, and it flat out shoots like an extension of your hand!

Oooh, Pardini! 😎 that's some rarified air your breathing now. Great pistol, everyone's going to be looking to you to bring up the team's score. 👍👍

That Hämmerli 280 is the first version that was prone to breaking there. I have a 280 that was bought in 96, second version with a Allen screw at the front, it's still going strong. I do have a second upper just in case though. 😁
Good luck with your pistol, keep us posted how you do with it.

First trials at 50 meters. 3°10 4°9 2°8 and a nasty 6 for a total of 88. Not so bad for a first time. The gun is very comfortable in the hand, very stable. I will get the grip worked on to fit my hand even better

Pardini SP = Very nice...and, good shooting, too!
They are very reliable, accurate, and ergonomic.

If you like the SP, you'd probably like their air pistols as well.
It's very rewarding to be able to do quality shooting in the comfort of your own home.
I have a couple older Pardini air pistols: a K58 and a K60.
These are both 10 shot 10 meter groups fired offhand (one hand).
Admittedly, both are above average groups, and the K58 group is probably the tightest 10 shot group I've ever fired.
