How to strike out words or sentence on forum?

How to Do Strike Through? (iPad)

I use an iPad. No longer have a laptop. Have not had one in over a decade.

I'm wondering how to do strike throughs on the forum, specifically in the classifieds, when I want to reduce the price. Say, $100, strike through — a horizontal line though that $100 — $75!

How do I do that?

I've seen strike throughs, I think, on the forum... Would like to know how to do it...

You have to manually enter the strike through code in the text.

It looks like this, only without the spaces between the brackets.

[ s ]Stricken text[ / s ]

When you remove the spaces, it displays like this:

If I have a thread that I posted and want to strike out parts of it (so it can still be read) Is there a way to put the strikes out in it? on a PC Windows. ??
I do not see an icon on the top?

Ya know, I asked that a year or two ago. The method is similar to quoting, [ QUOTE ] blab blab [/QUOTE] with spaces removed within first brackets. But don't recall what word to use. Strike?

I think I tried using the HTML or CODE tags with a command once, too (for a superscript perhaps) but it could be that the Forum software (vBulletin?) doesn't support it here?

There's a discussion on using BB code on the vBulletin website here, but it's kinda Greek to me.

Pardon me. I thought you were referring to a deletion when you mentioned strike (as in "remove").

Ditto! I was playing with the "s" command but using diamond brackets (< >) as recommended somewhere else instead of the usual square ones.

Perhaps shis should be a "sticky" somewhre?
