OMG! I spoke with him just 2 weeks back.
He told me he wasn't taking any orders, backed-up 2 years, but keep calling and he'd fit me in.
A legend in the industry and based on our conversation, a real nice guy.

I'm trying to remember what he was most famous for? Was it large caliber Ruger revolver converisons?

He's also the guy who proved that the S&W Model 25-5 was tougher than most folks thought.
