Whitesboro is 11 miles south of my house. Yes it can get a bit stormy But Ill take all that over hurricanes all day long. I lived in Harris County Texas about 45 miles from the Galveston surf for 76 years. I am lucky to still be on the sweet side of the grass. Even When they missed us the extreme stress being in harms way was relentless. If we ever get a hurricane or tidal flooding here, there will be a whole lot more to worry about for everyone.Good to hear. We drove highway 82 past Whitesboro on the return leg of our Xmas trip. Some nice country around there, and it's pretty close to some of my wife's family. However, she's done with the Texas storms and tornadoes after living in the Dallas area, so we won't be moving there.
