Default Donations to NRA

Michael Bloomberg said he will donate millions of his own money for anti-gun agenda.

I was wondering if you guys ever heard of any pro-gun billionaire out there saying he/she will donate same kind of money for pro-gun legislation?

I for one didn't hear an outspoken single billionaire out there defending gun rights.
That's where the importance of NRA memberships comes...

Due to the status of NRA (non-profit organization?), the max donation they can get from any individual is $5000,

NRA raises $1.1M in January - Byron Tau - POLITICO.com

Maybe someone can explain this?
