Hydra Shoks are definitely in my rotation, along with Golden Sabers. No personal experience using them on a human (thank goodness!) but the rags and a lot of the forum members like them.

They feed good as they have the ball profile. Nice big opening in the center of that bullet too.
No bullet is perfect, in all shooting scenarios, but I just like the Federal round...

My department has had shootings with Hydro Shocks in 10MM Lite, .45 ACP and 9mm. Several generations, with the post, without, bonded, tactical, etc.
They work as advertised, excellent penetration, expansion and weight retention. Good ammo. I would carry it by choice if I had to buy my own.
