I recently attended a Master Firearms Instructor Course at the Sig Sauer Academy.
I fired well 500 rounds of the Anguilla 9mm and 45acp ammo without a single malfunction. We also fired well over 1,000 rounds of 5.56mm which also functioned flawlessly. I was pretty impressed with this ammo and i plan on buying more.

It was a great course taught by some great instructors, well worth the money and time. I highly reccommend this course to anyone who wants to "up their game"

I have found Aguila ammo to be one of the best made and most accurate factory ammo I've tried. Plus it is value priced to boot.

A few years ago I did a test of 15 different kinds of .22 ammo in 4 different guns. Each one had it's #1 preference but Aguila placed in the top 3 for each gun.

A couple weeks ago I fired several brands in a new XD45 and once again Aguila was making 5 shot one hole groups consistently while others were good but not the same cigar. Also velocity was consistent with SD over the chrono of 4.5, 7, 9 & 11 where other typical OEM ammo is often in the teens and twentys, this shows their manufacturing processes and quality control is good.

I have used it as practice ammo and never a problem. Although I usually just buy what is cheap at the time and sometimes it's Aquilla. I din't perform the testing you all dod. Good to know it's not just inexpensive but quality.

Good stuff. I stock pile it in 9mm.

It is made in Mexico, and at one time, the company was essentially the Mexican division or affiliate of Remington. I don't know if it still is or not. It's imported and distributed by a San Antonio company called Centurion. Its quality is as good as any. I don't see as much of it at gun shows as I did several years ago, and it was very commonly seen at that time.

Every time I go to a local gun show, I pick up one or two boxes of Aguila .38 Super; I've never had a problem with it. At one time, Aguila was the largest manufacturer of .38 Super.

There was an article in Shotgun News several years ago (2003 ?) doing a feature story and walk thru etc. The plant was bought and run by a Mexican family.They have continued research and brought some innovative products to market such as the IQ hi velocity alloy rounds and the mini shotshells (don't know if either are still being made though).

Good stuff. Just placed an order thru aim surplus for 9mm @ 9.95 a box. For 1000 rounds.
