Default White Box on Gun Broker....

I was browsing Gun Broker last night, curious to see what 9mm was going for. I came across three 100 round boxes of WWB for $188 with 20 bids on it. This market is absolutely crazy. Thank God I am not giving my business to these price goudgers. And quite honestly, I would feel guilty getting 400% of retail for it.

I put a NIB FN Five seveN with four boxes of ammo on Gunbroker recently. I had about $1300 in the gun and ammo. I set a starting bid of $1600 with no reserve. I don't really know why I bought the gun in the first place. I thought if I could make $300 on the deal I would be OK. I just wanted to get rid of the gun. The gun and ammo went for $2200, about $900 above my cost.

I had a 50 cal Barrett 82A1 that cost me about $10K. I tried for a year to sell the damn thing for $8K and was unsuccessful. i recently put it on Gunbroker and it went for $11K with numerous bidders. I would have gladly sold it for $9K and considered myself fortunate to have done so.

I am more perplexed than guilty. I do think I will give the buyer of the Five seveN two new mags which were not included in the auction.

It is a crazy world for sure.
I have a S&W 22A that I didn't know why I bought it either when I already have a 22S and 22A bull barrel.
Sold it last month for $230 and the seller sold it 3 days later for $250.
For something that Cabela used to have on sale for $199.
