I had a round container of Tulammo 9mm that was to weak to work my Shield and kept jamming. Gave away the balance of the box. Only ammo that I ever had a problem shooting from the Shield including my loads.

Never used it in a Shield (I don't have one), but Tulammo 9mm seems to work OK for me in other 9mms.

I just bought a box of 9mm Perfecta today at Walmart for 10.97. Hoping it's good target ammo.

Perfecta 9mm & .40 S&W
I have been shooting the Perfecta 9mm and .40 S&W through my SD9VE and the .40 through my Taurus 24/7 G2 .40 S&W with no issues what so ever. Perfecta has been some good target ammo for me and my guns. I will continue to buy it!

I bought 4 boxes of 9MM 115 grain at the local Walmart for $10.99 and thought it was a good deal. Wrong!! Stay away from this ammo. It is scary to shoot this. The amount of fire that comes blazing out of your muzzle will scare the **** out of you. It was not enjoyable at all. I shot one box and put the rest away. I wish I could sell it to someone!!
Guess I'm stuck with the three remaining boxes. Stay away from this thing unless you have a death wish!!! Here's a picture of the garbage I bought:

The 99mm stuff did not work well in Glock 17C with ported barrel. Worked fine in an FMK and a Shield 9. Did seem to have a more noticeable muzzle flash than some other factory rounds or my reloads.

I bought 4 boxes of the 40cal for my compact m&p and I was very disappointed.
I ran 2 boxes so far and they just didn't like to feed.
I'm going to do a cleaning on the gun but I just don't think that's the problem. I'll stick with the winchesters/Remington's
I'm new on this page so please forgive me if I'm not doing something right.

Son-in-law gave me an empty ammo box for my reloading
since I was getting low on boxes.....heck, I was out, lets face it.
No one brings them back to me..............
Any way, I did not mind the plastic ammo tray inside the box
but it was so deep, the empty cases were below the rim of the plastic !!
I like the foam shell holders a lot better............

I bought a few boxes of 20 for my 223. Its the ONLY round I have had that on occasion the bolt sticks and will not open with out some special attention. I will not use it any more. I can fire 5.56 with no problems, so its not the gun.
I also bought a box of 50 62 grain 223. These were not accurate at 50 yards and worse at 100.
The 55 grain hit the target in the right place, but the bolt sticking makes me not use them.

Has fed good and been fairly accurate in 9mm 45acp and 762x39. Imo it's on par with wwb or the bulk federal.

I went to Walmart in Ware, MA to buy my usual WWB 9mm 100rd box and found the Perfecta brand for $10.97/50rd. So I grabbed a box to try them out.
Just got back from the range and they fired perfect through my M&P 9mm FS. Only mods are the APEX DCAEK and polished feed ramp. I found these to fire more accurate and less recoil compared to the WWB. I loaded a couple magazines half/half to test and the steel target went ding.
No complaints here, now I have two options from Walmart which is great!!

I bought one box of 9mm for 10.97. Shot it at the range and it worked very well. So, I just bought two more boxes and a box of 45acp for 18.95. We will see how that does.

I think they loaded the wrong SKU for that ammo. The Rollback price is $10.97. At $7 you should have emptied the shelf. Some manager will be getting it handed to him when the sales report comes in.

I got 40 for $8.94 and 223 for $8.94 per 50!!!!
I dont know how long the roll back price will be but i look at the shelf every time im at walmart.

I bought a box of this in .40 to try. It was cheap so I thought I would give it a try.
It worked fine in my FS M&P, but would not load each time it cycled a round in my compact. It was hard to load into the magazine too so I think the cases are slightly thicker. I guess the barrel on my FS is a little wider than my compact and this was the reason for the difference in how it worked in the two guns.
I did not try this ammo in either of my HK's, but I might just to see how it does.
FYI, Tulammo and everything else works fine in my M&P compact.

Well, I bought 3 boxes of the .223 Rem Perfecta at $16.44/50rd box at the Junction City,KS Walmart and am very very happy with it. Clean, accurate and reloadable... I hope that they get some more in soon.
I am a reloader but when I can find .223/5.56 for 30-35 cents per round reloadable, I buy it.

Asked my WalMart manager friend about that $7 price. He said that there is leeway to price ammo depending on the area, thus the $15 spread I see on .45 JHP.
He did say that if he could price it that low he would not, as he call sell all he can get at $10.97.

Perfecta works fine.
Perfecta (nice brass cases) shoots as good if not better than any of the ammo in the price category (target/practice). It's not noticeably dirtier that I can discern. I have shot at least a thousand of the Tula steel case stuff. It shoots great. No FTF / FTE that I even recall thinking it may be the ammo. I've shot it in everything. Works great, though it is a bit dirtier. For the love of the 2nd Amendment, clean your guns my friends.

Shot 100 RDS of Perfecta in my Shield 9MM yesterday. No problems. Its noticeably weak and the powder stinks but it works good enough for punching paper holes.
I prefer the Freedom Munitions 124 grain FMJ.

Dropped in Wally's on my way to work this morning, needed some motor oil. The ammo display is on the way to the oil, so of course I swung by. Of course they had no .22 ammo, but when I peered into the Plexiglas case, I saw this "Perfecta" ammo in various calibers, first time I've seen it here. 9mm was just under $11/box, so I was planning on trying at least one - but alas - as is typical for Wally's (especially before sunup) no counter help was to be found.
I made myself feel better by picking up a 100-round box of 12 ga., and will likely try again on my way home. Perhaps the store will be more adequately staffed during daylight hours.
Thanks for the opinions, choices and options are a good thing.

Talked about the Perfecta last night at my WM. They took off the rollback in some stores, but not all. Also seems that they may not be getting any more, although that depends on the area distribution warehouse.

Have had no problem with the 150 rounds I went through. Fed, ejected and grouped just fine. Only thing I was at an indoor range and could not retrieve my brass.

Seems to me that most of the problems with the Perfecta are with the .40 170gr, and failure to feed.
I am no expert, and may be way off, but the only thing I can come up with is that is has to do with the bullet profile, and the way its seated in the brass.
Perfecta/Fiocchi uses a FMJTC bullet, which is a truncated cone, instead of a RNFP. For some reason I believe this combo of bullet and brass seating may cause them to have a more pronounced lip and hang up on the rim of the case causing a feed issue.
I did buy a box out of curiosity to see how my Shield and Sig SP2022 would handle them. Surprising to me the Shield ran 28 without a problem, but I had 1 feed issue in 18 with the Sig. Not a huge deal, but up to that point, I had never had a problem of any kind with that gun.
Anyway, not a Rocket Surgeon, just my 0.02
Pics show the more pointed Fiocchi, and more rounded MagTech and Blazer Brass.

I believe it's made by Fiocchi, but on the back of the box it says it's distributed by Tulammo. The Walmart that I checked only had it in 40SW, but I've heard others say that it is available in 9MM and 45 auto also.
I bought a box to give it a try, although I haven't shot any of it yet. To be honest I didn't see the mention of Tulammo until I got it home. It seems that so many have had problems with the steel case Tulammo that if I had seen that, I might not have bought it. But since it specifically stated that it was brass case and non corrosive primer, hopefully it will be fine.
If anyone has tried it yet, chime in a let us know how it worked. With the ammo situation as it is, sometimes you have to buy what's available, not what you want.

A couple months ago, I picked up a 1997 Taurus PT92.
For my second trip to the range with this pistol, I brought along 50rds of Perfecta I had just bought at WM.
No problems at all, shot very well in the Taurus. The last mag I shot was done standing, offhand at the 80yd plate my club has, and I was ringing it regularly. That 115gn bullet really made the plate swing, too.

I found Perfecta ammo in 9mm today at walmart. I have not shot any yet but I bought 50 rounds for $10.97. If it will not feed i'll let you know. I don't know if it's a fair test as my G17 will eat up anything you throw at it. They also had 380 , 40 and 45acp

Ok went to the range and this ammo ran ok it was weak but fairly accurate. I ran a 50 round box of Perfecta 9mm through a Taurus millennium G2 The last mag I loaded Had 3 stove pipes I Believe it was due to OAL. Over all not bad for plinking around but I may pay 3 bucks more for Blazer Brass or American Eagle.

OK, I know this is an older post but here goes. My 223 really likes the Perfecta. Both my 9mm's also run well with it. Today I found they had expanded again and I bought 2 boxes of 357 magnum FMJ 158 grain for 18.99 per box. Last time I tried to buy any 357 I was shocked at around $40 and up per box of 50. Will try it out but my Ruger GP100 isn't very fussy as long as it goes bang.
My guess is that Perfecta is trying to slowly cover all popular types of ammo.

I stopped at my local WM today as I passed by. No 22, but the Perfecta 9mm is back on rollback to $10.97.

I glanced briefly at the Perfecta recently. Can't remember if I was looking at .45auto, .38 or 9mm but I could swear I saw steel case and then Tula. Decided to give it a pass. Maybe I'll look again.

I purchased two of their 50rd .223 (5.56?) boxes. I have shot one box.
..
One of the rounds did not feed into the chamber properly. The bullet was pressed back into the case . I have saved this round, I saved the end flap with the lot number, but have not yet send the info to Perfecta.
I was hoping the 'Made in Italy' was going to be a good sign. Improper neck/bullet fit has me wondering.
I have tried no other Perfecta.
I would probably try them again, given the price. The results of my next box will tell me.

While at WM yesterday I bought some firearm cleaning supplies. I always look at the ammo selection to see what's in their inventory. The sales lady told me they finally received some more Perfecta ammo in 9mm. I had never seen or heard of it before.
I bought 4 of the 10 boxes they had in stock for $10.97 each.
I will be shooting some of it today and will post my opinion about it.
My 5906 has NO problems with steel case Tulammo so I'm sure this ammo will be just fine.

I bought a couple boxes for my shield .40 and it didn't feed well at all. The initial round had issues feeding and would only ever shoot one or two before jamming up again. Not impressed. I will painfully shoot through the 2 boxes and consider myself ahead in the enjoyment I received and the brass collected. It must be the bullet shape or something but it just didn't perform well.

I finally got around to shooting the Perfecta ammo. I went through 150 rounds with no problems at all. My cousin was shooting his G-17 and had several FTF (failed to feed) and FTE rounds in just 50 rounds. While shooting his Sig Sauer P229, we went through 100 rounds with no problems at all. BTW, I was shooting my 5906.
I think I will stock up on some more.

Using Perfecta 230gr 45acp in my Kimber ultra carry. Now using Federal 230gr in aluminum case. Both from Walmart and inexpensive. No issues and Kimber has no restictions on them per my call to factory.

That's good to hear. I pick up my Kimber UC in a couple of more long days.
I bought a box of the Perfecta .45 FMJ 230 for about $18 a box of 50 with tax at WM.
Without shooting it I noticed that the brass looked good and has a big primer. The bullet has the same color as the brass, Not at all copper colored.
I'll buy more brands to test and catalog my results.

I ran 2 boxes of 9mm thru my Ruger SR9C with no problems. The brass reloads fine. I found .357 Mag last week, it shoots great. Went back for more but it was gone.

Perfecta Ammo- Italy

Occasionally the .45 load appears a little weak in the HK (very consistent feel, different ammo is noticeable). You can not beat the price and honestly I'm not sure why others are having problems but I've seen this with expensive ammo (even match stuff). Off topic, but if you get a chance, try a CX4 Storm, very cool rifle (compact) this is why I acquired 9mm and the .45 version. Thank you all for this great forum and member input (enjoy reading comments).

Initially the ratings were good. But as the posts continue problems appear. I saw it in Walmart yesterday and decided to check the Forum for ratings. At this point I would not want to carry it ffor self-defense. So using it for practice? No thanks. I'll stick to ammo made in the USA.

My favorite range gun is much too large to carry concealed, so I'll happily shoot $11 Perfecta FMJ.
I've tested it with several mfg brass cased JHP, it all works.

Just adding, I've had absolutely no problem with 250rds of Perfecta 9mm through my 3906.
I just wish I had picked up more when I saw it in stock, but I knew nothing about it at the time..
