Hey guys,

I do a quarterly internet hunt for the discontinued Federal 9mm HTC 147+P JHP ammo.
A couple of days ago in my latest search, these guys popped up.
Headquartered in Anoka, Minnesota, Federal Ammo.

They had the above-mentioned ammo in stock and at a price point unseen in yrs!
I even sent them an email to double-check, in a few hrs (late night) they hit me back and gave me the okay it was in stock & my shipping timeline!:uhoh:

The kicker was they don't accept checks, money orders, debit/credit cards, nor allow local pickup.
All transactions must be handled online with ONLY, "Cryptocurrency - Ethereum (0.070399 ETH), Bitcoin (0.00377624 BTC).

Does anyone have any experience with them or heard of this outfit?

Not accepting checks... some businesses won't, they don't like the fees associated with bounced checks. Not accepting money orders, credit cards or debit cards, payment only in cryptocurrency is a guaranteed sign of a scam.

Money orders and credit/debit cards, as well as PayPal, are as close to guaranteed payments as you can get without being a cash transaction. This is what a legitimate business wants.

Cryptocurrency is highly volatile. You may pay $100 in crypto today, it might be worth $200 tomorrow, but it could just as easily be worth $20 tomorrow. This instability is not what a legitimate business wants.

The website was created in 2022.

They use the terms ammunitions, ammunition, ammo, and ammos interchangeably depending on where they copied the text from for the website.

No phone number or address, just email.

They're definitely presenting themselves as a factory retail outlet by way of their web address "federalammunitions.com" and the text providing the history of federal ammunition.
