I recently purchased SN 622030. Factory nickel in excellent condition. (Sorry for the poor pics). The stocks match the gun wear wise but I see no evidence of the serial number on the right panel. Marks from the frame on the right panel make me believe they have been on the gun a long time. My question is are these early replacements, or original and somehow not numbered? Best guess anyone?

Those stocks are correct for the period in which your gun was likely shipped: 1st quarter 1934. I can't explain why there is no serial stamp on the right panel. Check it closely for a penciled number which was the older practice which should have ended in the latter 1920's. Since it was S&W's practice to fit the stocks to each gun, no serial indicates they are replacements, IMO.

I usually check the contour of the grips at the heel and toe of the grip frame. This is where fitting of the panels really shows up best. Also take multiple photos of the right panel using different lights and angles. No matter the outcome you have an extremely nice revolver there.
