NEW REPUBLIC AMMO

A few friends that I am teaching to shoot have both purchased new pistols and are now looking for factory ammo for Range practice. As I always do, I have recommended Federal and American Eagle as I have always found those two to be the best. AE is usually priced decently at Target Sports. They went on the TS website and saw a new type of ammo I am not familiar with, it is called New Republic and comes in a green and white box (not associated with Remington). I also tried to look into their Company via their website however it is not up and running yet.

Has anyone here had any experience wit this stuff? The price is attractive (about 20% less) but my recommendation to them was to use the AE until some reports and news comes out about this new ammo co. Just curious of anyone has the dope on them.

Listing says made in Hungary. There used to be a Hungarian ammo line awhile back, don't remember name. Should be good to go. $12.50/box (they do collect tax now, adds about a buck and change/box). I buy most of my ammo there for the last 10 years. Joe
