I went into Scheel's again today. Online prices of primers put me on the hunt. Primers online started at 59.50.. But while I was there they were putting 500 Round plastic ammo boxes of 9mm...Winchester...on the shelves. Since I was already there I called a friend and he asked me to pick up a ammo can. The price wasn't the cheapest of the day though at 129.95. Cabela'salso has 9mm in stock with the Cabela's club discount at 114.98 for 500 rounds. Since I was already at Scheel's I picked up 500 rounds there and another 500 rounds at Cabela's. No tax in Mt. and no shipping so both prices were fairly good. I think Scheel's had some other loose boxes of 9mm blow away ammo at 10.50 box. Don't remember the brand...but got another 2000 SPPs and SRPs each at just under 60 dollars. Cabela's also has small ammo cans of Federal 22 cal 36 gr HP ammo at 34.00 for 650 rounds. Just a heads up for those in locations where cabela's and Scheel's have stores. For Primers check Scheel's online prices and availability in your area. I think I am about done buying primers for a while...Oh, I didn't buy any but Cabela's had Win 223 55 gr in 200 packs at 50 cents each. and 300 rd Herter's 223 for 140.00 for Cabel's club members...47 cents each ...AND...Cabela's had the Polymer cased 223 and 308 in stock...but it ain't cheap

Bi Mart in southern OR (Grants Pass, Medford) had a few pallets of Fiocchi 9mm for $219.00 for 1000. Hope that's a sign of things to come. Actually took a few days to sell out.

I called a few stores to see if the "Black friday" thing will kick in for lower prices for us.........

and the three stores I called said, not yet. Maybe in December, we might get a break ?

Local stores, means no shipping or Haz fees, but I guess I might have to go to the net
to see if I might find a Acorn, to put under the tree. this year?

Here's another good buy on 9mm at Scheel's. Fiocchi 115gr Training Dynamics 9mm ammo. I just bought a case of this stuff (20 boxes of 50) at $10.99 a box. Shipping is $7.99. With tax the total delivered price to me is $243.17.

I think I am going to stop in tomorrow and buy some of that Fiocchi They were putting it on the shelf when I was there...and I just needed to go. I'm only going to get another 10 boxes.. no shipping no tax. I think I am going to buy a Savage Axis at Cabelas tomorrow...well tonight just after midnight online..With Cabelas club ptice is 299.95 out de door in Mt. 25-06 for this one. I bought a 243 last year....

Going to the Billings Gun Show. Ordered 10 boxes of the Fiocchi and another 1000 SRPs(CCI). They are out of S&LPPs in Billings. I'll stop and pick 'em up after the show. A friend called a few minutes ago and said a dealer had a shooter grade K-32 on his table...1800 bucks though. We'll see

Picked up the fiocchi ammo and primers yesterday aftternoon. 10.99 and 59. 50 respectively. I saw a few primers on the tables at the gun show. They are still priced ridiculously. Most powder even OLD stock(30years +) 35.00 pound. I bought a 1pound BLC2 for 15.00
