I have used SG Ammo for years. Great company, great people.

This morning they outdid themselves. They have a good sale going on, so I ordered 3 cases of 22LR ammo. Bam! (sorry Emeril) I got an email 9 minutes later saying my order had been picked and is ready for shipping. NINE MINUTES! And this is during the Christmas buying chaos.

A giant hurrah for SG Ammo.

I've used them exclusively for years. I live a three hour drive from their warehouse in Oklahoma City, yet no matter how late in the day I order, my shipment is always delivered the next day. Amazing. Maybe they have a UPS driver who lives at their facility.

Most of what I buy comes from SG. I sometimes see ammo priced a little cheaper elsewhere but would rather buy from someone I have dealt with for years, never had a problem with and packs the ammo well.

BTW...You can get a 60 dollar rebate if you buy 10 packs of 525 Remington 22 Thunderbolts....LOL

You know during the Pandemic they were really terrible. Someone gave me a 525 box about 2 months ago and I finally decided to shoot them Shot them in my pre 17,pre 18, model 63 ,model 41s and a Rem 521 T...they all shot well..no FTfire or FTfeed. That pre 18 always has tight chambers...about 3 months ago I I polished all the chambers with ss wool on a brush w/Kroil. I either got the chambers good or the TBolts were good. The old pre 17(1948) shot them really well. Shot a few pine comes off the big ol pines around the house. Shot at a passing coyote at about a 100 yards but must have held too high. Maybe they are paying more attention to QC these days. I have a few boxes of them over 20 years old I think. They used to be ok for the cheaper ammo

Before the pandemic I stocked up on .22 LR in several varieties. Rem Thunderbolts proved to be possibly the worst .22 LR I have ever seen. I shot some and gave the rest to a neighbor for his son to burn up in his Ruger 10-22.

Surprisingly to me the worst ammo I ever had is Winchester...not standard stuff copper coated HV HPs... I even have one box left of their lead free (expensive) ammo. Hi vel but light bullets made from tin, I think

SG Ammo won't sell to several states, encompassing at least a million gun owners, even though it is completely legal to ship to an FFLs there. So they can go suck on a crate of eggs. Their loss of business is other's gains.

You know even when I had an FFL some states were a pain to ship to and deal in..NJ was terrible...Areas around NYC were...RI was too...and I am sure there are others as bad or worse after all these years. If they won't ship to a state there IS a good reason. They are in business to make a profit...maybe they have too many restrictions

Unfortunately millions of gun owners don't vote

If you're that bitter about it, why not call them and ask about their reasoning? They may have a solid reason from their perspective or they could just be uninformed. Gun laws are a patchwork of confusion in this country and they're always changing. You won't solve much by grousing here, but you might gain common ground by just talking with Sam.
