Hello
Most of the 9mm reviews that I did were shot with two guns.
A SIG 365 SAS, with a 3.1 inch barrel and a Taurus G3 with a 4 inch barrel.
First I do forensic exam of the ammunition. Next I shoot a group while chronographing with each gun. 10 yards with the SIG, three rounds and 15 yards with the G3, five rounds. Chronograph is a Oehler 35P
Then the ammunition is shot out of each gun into a 55 gallon plastic barrel of water. The bullets are then recovered, photographed and then measured for expansion. In cases where the bullet fragments and loses its jacket, a weight is taken with all the recovered material and also a weight taken with just the lead core.

I really had a time with this brand.
After shooting a round into the barrel and lifted up the screen there was no bullet there. I noticed immediately there was a small hole in the screen and there was some water oozing out from under the barrel. Sure enough the bullet penetrated through all that water and penetrated through the bottom of the barrel and into the dirt. Never recovered that bullet.
I had some 1 gal milk jugs left so I lined up five water filled jugs and placed a piece of 1x6 behind the last jug. Well, the round penetrated through all five jugs and the 1x6 and vanished into the dirt bank.
Ok, this time I placed six water filled jugs in line and a piece of 2x6 behind the last jug. Fired a round and lo and behold jug number six captured the bullet. The little piece of fragmentation you can see in the pic was found in jug number two. No appreciable expansion what so ever. Saw no need to shoot one out of the Sig 365.
Not only did the bullet not expand, but the ammunition grouped badly at 15 yards.
Not a lot of positive things to say about this one.
Oh and a little JB Weld fixed the barrel up.
