Default Simply Rugged Silver Dollar for 3" Mod 60

Is anyone using this set up from Simply Rugged? I am interested in opinions like how comfortable, high ride, concealable, etc for the 3" Mod 60. Also did you get the optional IWB loops, and if so do they work. Is this rig practical to wear under a short light jacket? Also any better recommendations? I tried Uncle Mike's IWB, but that didn't work out for me. Thanks

Just tried mine under a sweatshirt.

OWB in strongside position conceals well under a sweatshirt. Bottom of the holster is just above the top of my rear pants pocket.

In a comfortable (for me) crossdraw position, just to rear of the most forward belt loop, the grips of my 3" Model 60 create a noticable lump under my sweatshirt; with the holster slid farther back, it would probably hide well but be more uncomfortable.

Using the IWB loops the holster conceals very well.

The holster is well made, versatile, and very reasonably priced.

I would prefer a holster with some reinforcement around the mouth for ease of reholstering the revolver; the mouth collapses when the revolver is drawn.

I'd like to try one of the Lobo Leather holsters for comparison; he seems very reasonably priced and reviews of his work all appear to be positive.

I have carried a Model 640-1 with a 2 1/8" bbl in a silver dollar for several years. You don't know it's there. I have carried it on the ranch on horseback, on an ATV with no concerns for security. Don't have the IWB straps. It's a good value for the money.

I have one for a model 60 with a 3" barrel. I use it to carry OWB. It rides in nice and close to my body. I use a Side Guard holster with a reinforced top for IWB. The Simply rugged holster is a nice product at a nice price.
The gun and holster are a little bit longer then a 2" J frame, but I wear a long duster type coat in the colder months.
