Am I the only one that uses this style? It seems the flatest, most convenient way to carry and conceal. It doesn't work for a LEO because reholstering is a two hand operation. I am not concerned with taking anyone into custody. Carry daily a 5" 31 oz. 1911 in Florida. Works with an untucked t-shirt.

I've had one for years. I generally don't like IWB but the LAW is pretty comfortable, definitely easy to conceal.

Thanks - I looked all over and couldn't find a website. Went to the link you provided and still couldn't find any information. Perhaps the owner is trying to keep his holsters "exclusive" - one of those deals where you can't afford it if you have to ask.

It looks just like a "Shadow Concealment Systems" holster I bought years ago when I couldn't find a custom holster for a pistol. It will fit many different brands of pistols. I think I originally bought it to carry a Astra A-80, but also used it occasionally for a Sig P226, Sig P229 and a HK P7M10.

I've carried a Glock model 21 (.45 full-size) in the LAW for over 20 years.

Big pistol, but it hides well in this rig... under just a tee shirt.
Comfortable enough for everyday, too.

This is the only type of holster I've used to CCW for the past 10 years, or more. At times I've carried for a 24 hour period, or more. It's quite comfortable and concealable, not always the fastest to deploy. I've used both the leather and nylon variants. I find the nylon more comfortable next to the skin, but the nylon seems to require an initial break-in period (during which the holster may also come out during the draw), once broken-in there's no problem.

I bought my first LAW when it was Shadow Concealment, probably close to 30 years ago. Over the years I've carried K-frame S&Ws, Colt 1911s, S&W Mdl 39 and 59, assorted Colt Pythons and Diamondbacks, and a slew of others guns I don't remember. Great holster, very comfortable, and it has gone through hell and back with me as it was my primary holster when I was a traveling firearms instructor. The old thing was still quite usable, and I still grab it at times, but I figured it was time to update, so I bought 2 new ones a year or so back. Same great design, some wonderful flexibility to carry different guns in different positions. Not one of the best known designs, but IMO one of the best general use holsters out there. BTW, holstering one-handed is fairly easy if you learn the trick. Hard to describe, easy to do: put pressure against the top body flap as you push the barrel down into the holster; when you get to the clip area where it gets tight give the gun a bit of a twist while maintaining downward pressure and it slips right in.
