How long for Mississippi concealed carry license?

Did the state give you an ID number when you applied? Florida gave me an ID number and a telephone number to check it out on when I applied for a Florida CC permit. Also, if you had to be fingerprinted, the FBI is really backlogged on their fingerprint updates. Just a few ideas from my experiences with CC permiting.

Fellow Mississippian here. It took app 45 days for my CCL to come back. Completed my application, finger printing etc just after New Years and received my license middle of February. Good luck and glad to see someone else from MS on the fourm.
