Vehicle holster
Im looking for a holster for my sd9ve. I want to get a holster that can mount in my vehicle that has a quick detach so i can easily take it out. Does anyone have something like this or can point me in the right direction? Thanks

This system is by BladeTech and the inner part attaches to the holster and the two outer parts can be made fast to the vehicle console and a Teklok for super easy on and off the belt. Hope this helps!

That is an interesting setup. I also found a similar thing at Safariland.

Check out this one at :40 seconds. Of course you'll have to dump your airbag.

Any cheap spring clip type IWB holster for your weapon. cheaper the better. I clip one in my door down below my left hand. It can go in and out of the vehicle as I do. In my vehicle door recess, it's down before seat level where it can't be seen and weapon is black also. So when parked it doesn't immediately jump out at anyone who might walk up and look in the windows.

I've seen a holster that was designed to strap on to the steering column. Not concealed at all except for being on the bottom of the column.
I mounted a standard leather crossdraw holster inside the between-the-seats console of my car with a single sheet-metal screw. Secure, yet all you have to do is remove the screw (with a stubby screwdriver) and out it comes. Very easily accessed from the drivers seat, more so than the IWB-carried gun on my person..
Years ago, I mounted a nylon holster to the floor uner the bench-seat of my pickup, so I could covertly carry a gun under there. Not so easily reached, esp nowadays with the extra weight around the middle that I'm packing.

Just a thought about vehicular holsters.
A Romora style holster between the seat and the console I think makes for a good multi purpose holster. Placement can be in the door recessed panel, between the seat back and the bottom, your choice. Another idea I had was to mount a magnet along the side of the console or for that matter any place this is in easy reach. When you leave the vehicle only the magnet remains, must prying eyes would not have a clue as to the reason and being small, yet powerful it would not distract from the car's interior. I don't care for the holsters that mount to the steering columns or to the side of the seat either could be in plan view if the door was opened.
Just a couple of thoughts, sometimes it helps to think out loud.
Good luck, be safe.

Silvergoose,
I was thinking about doing the same thing with my Remora holster that is supposed to arrive today. My car seats are leather so I might stick to them... I will have to try it.

Go to Hobby Lobby and buy some leather...Go on eBay and buy a sheet of Kydex (Easy to work with a heat gun) Mold it to you weapon and then use Chicago Screws to mount to leather...Attach nylon straps with commercial Velcro ends and make it to fit any vehicle...
You can make it to fit several different vehicles...

How about making something like this?.
As convenient as can be. When I leave the vehicle I pull the belt to rotate the holster out of sight, and rotate it back to between my knees when driving. On a couple of occasions when something or someone didn't look quite right, my hand was on the holstered gun with no one the wiser.
