Any recomendations for OWB@IWB holsters for a model 65 with 3 inch barrel.
Thanks in advance.
Jim

My Model 65-4 with 3" barrel carries well in this old Bianchi 111 Cyclone holster. It can be used strong side or cross draw.

I'm not sure if you're looking just for OWB or if IWB is acceptable, but I carried a 3" 65 IWB in a Milt Sparks Summer Special II and it worked quite well. I also had an IWB holster based on the Milt Sparks VMII (made by a company that is no longer in business) that worked well; I'm sure there are others of that style.

I'm generally not a fan of OWB carry and don't have any experience carrying a revolver in such a holster. In general, though, I can recommend Side Guard Holsters. They make good quality holsters at a decent price. I consider them a good value.

Jim here is an example of both the IWB & OWB from Milt Sparks in 3 inch K versions.

Excellent quality and workmanship, they cost a bit more than some, but what is your life worth?

This is often my walk in Penn's Woods holster....... in the 'Burbs of the Burgh" its been a Milt Sparks Summer Special since about 1990..... before that a Bianchi "Pistol Pocket"......................

if you contact Sam Andrews, at Andrews Custom Leather, he can fix you right up. I have been carrying a DAO 3 inch model 65 in his holster for 20 years. Bulletproof, ergonomic, perfect.
