Not much good to say about that gun. Once in a while, though not often anymore, someone shows up with one. Triggers break pretty often and, absent a gunsmith, you have to send it to Mossberg.
They are better for hunting where only a few rounds are shot.
A better choice might be an 1100 in 28ga.
My wife shoots a 12 for trap, but the gun is fitted to her and she shot 200 rounds today with absolutely no ill effects and will shoot another 100 tomorrow. When a gun is fitted to the person, most don't notice the recoil. But, with an adjustable comb, adjustable pad and the fitting, you are into about $400.
A used 1100 is 5-750.
