Default Sig P938 SAS

Bought a new Sig P938 SAS today. Really small 9mm. It will fit in my front pocket. I am going to make this my new carry gun. I really like it. I will take it to the range in the next few days.

P938 SAS

Congratulations! I look forward to a range report. I'm very fond of Sigs, but $830 MSRP for SA only! Wow!

The wife has one about a year old. She'd only put about 300 rounds through it when it stopped functioning. Dead trigger. Sometimes racking the slide would reset it. Sometimes it wouldn't. Sent it off to Sig. They paid for shipping. Came back in exactly 8 days. It works now.

Sig said the sear pin was out of place. In addition they upgraded the magazine catch and the mainspring housing and replaced the grips. We never noticed an issue with the grips, but they said they were damaged. Was not happy that a $750 gun less than a year old quit working, but I'm VERY pleased with Sig Sauer's customer service.

It's a real nice pistol, but IMO a single action only pistol should not have a 10 pound plus trigger pull. That's just wrong.

Ive carried mine for about a year and a half, and it has been a great, accurate PDW.

I've owned two 938's but sold them after finding the safety in the firing position after a day of appendix carry. Great little gun but don't feel comfortable carrying one as my edc.

I have one too. Very nice for pocket carry or on a belt .. really nice and thin, but it makes a 9mm feel more potent than a 9mm should feel. I really like the sights on this gun and it is easy to shoot... no problems in the 4 months of carry.

The trigger pull is on the heavy side as is about right for all the tiny guns .. not as bad as the Glock 43 .. which I thought was terrible in the first 100 rounds .. but it is getting much better ... the 938 is equally heavy on the trigger pull and has not got better in the 200 rounds .. but very reliable with no FTE/FTFs .. good gun.

I find both the glock 43 and SIG 938 most comfortable in a belt slide holster where the trigger guard is covered .. never been a fan of appendix carry. Sights on the 938 beat those cheap glock sights by a mile.

P938 has had a MSR problem that sig has had difficulty getting a handle on .. the ones being made now are good .. Sig mother ship has been upgrading them as they tend to break ..

I have the baby brother to the P938 .. a p238 looks just like the 938 only in .380 instead of 9mm or 40 .. my 238 is very accurate .. its my bug ..
