CSR 1516 5.56 from CDNN. It came with 4 free mags and freebie bag.
Gun Mag Warehouse just had a deal for a 30 round PMAG Gen M3 Six-Pack for $66 (and free shipping) that I couldn't pass up.

Looks like a CCR, Colt Competition Rifle..

Kershaw Rainbow Leek. Not a purchase, it was a gift from my son. No particular reason, he just wanted to. I have a stainless Leek already, so I can save this one for Disco Night.

Yup it is one of theirs... CCR makes the CSR line.
Nice bunch of people. I wrote asking 1 question and they set me up with a boat load of PDF Brochures, Stat Sheets and such.

The only drawback so far (and it's not a biggie) is that their Pic Rail Holes are proprietary... So if I want to add rails, I need to get them through CCR.

Magpul Industries ACS (Adaptable Carbine Storage) AR-15 Carbine Stock

i love the cheek rest. The original stock pulled hair from my beard. This one feels Taylor made for me. Its also longer witch I needed for Im a 6.2.

I highly recommend.

VLTOR Emod Stock

A SOG Flash II assisted-opener, plain edge, for my sister. She's disabled, confined to an electric wheelchair in which she goes all over the city, day and night, and hates guns and won't carry OC spray or a stun gun.

I've given her three Spyderco Enduras. One is in storage where she can't get at it, and she's lost two. I decided to go with an assisted opener in hopes she would like it enough to hang onto it.

For me a knife is an accessory. For her it's last-ditch defense, and I can't change her mind on that.

I gave her a kukri for home protection.

Recently, I got myself a 100 count box of .38special fmj ammo.
I guess a double shoulder of 9 ounce leather can be kinda considered a gun accessory, I use it for making belts, holsters, knife sheaths and stuff.

As I neared retirement, I bought two new handguns in the past four months: a Sig Sauer P290RS for easy summer CC, and a Glock 19 Gen4 fitted with a Streamlight Tactical Illuminator for HD. The way I look at it, if I had to surrender either of these two new handguns into evidence because I used them to defend myself or others, it wouldn't break my heart. I can't say I'd feel the same way about losing my pre-lock S&W revolvers. It's a matter of priorities.

Old Texmex got me a scrounging.
Something I do pretty well.

Started with the Model 600 in .222

of course I needed some brass dies and ammo.

Did I mention I was good at scrounging ?

really good !!!

Today was testing some loads

first 3 was in blue on edge of blue and far right.
Not good......at all...really bad
I skipped my intermediate loads and threw in my top end ones
That was much better 6 in the linear hole

Paul,

nice rifle! I love the .222 Remington and have an old Sako L461 chambered for it. Like you, I could fall back on range pick-ups for reloading.

Just picked up an M&P 22 compact and M&P 15-22 yesterday. They're awesome!

Paul, I love it when a plan comes together, looks like you got 'er.
That rifle waited a long time to shoot-- glad you like it, amigo.

Never thought I needed a Ruger Charger and then this came across my path. TI receiver with KIDD parts for everything else. Custom spalted curly maple stock.

I'm a sucker for good chunk of wood.
