Whats your latest purchase? "guns/accessories"

Just picked up a S&W 659 at a local auction, no magazine. Gun looks virtually unfired. Seems like a tank and good reviews, the little I read about them. Apparently the spouse sold all the magazines from the hubbies collection so he was basically unarmed. Sounds like divorce mischief, but hey come by crazy routes. Serial is A843282. Early trigger guard, single side decocker.

My second CMP pistol arrived today, a Field Grade Remington Rand. Even better, it has “OB 83” electro penciled on it, marking it as having been overhauled at Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow in 1983. I really wanted a 1911A-1 that was with the Corps, and I was lucky enough to get one.

This pistol will pair up nicely with my USMC “O 66” overhauled M-1 Garand that I got from CMP a few years ago.

That’s a nice score. 😎

Form 1 submitted 15 April, tax day. Received notification Friday the 18th of April that it was approved. The fastest I have had any kind of NFA approval on anything, ever! I like the way the fixed stock shoots, but my nephews are all about the collapsible stock. With an 8.3 inch barrel it is LOUD. Even with the 4 prong flash suppressor the fireball 5.56 makes on an indoor range is impressive. Not very practical, but it's fun.

My latest purchase? A 6.5” S&W 629-4 Classic 44 mag. This was the very 1st pistol I purchased shortly after turning 21 in late 1992. I had it for about a year and then sold it so I had $$$ to go to Jamaica on vacation! I’ve regretted that move for the last 32yrs. Then out of the blue about a month ago, the wife says to me, “why don’t you have any revolvers? You literally have tons of others but no revolvers”. So I pulled up GB and found it for sale, the identical one I sold and showed her. Her response? “Sexy piece.. you need to get that.”

LOL. 5 min later I had my bid in and wasn’t outbid. $705. It’s from an estate sale and is in nice shape.

DNT Optics 'TheOne' 7-35x56 for my CZ457 in .17HMR. Fantastic scope for the price; this is my second 'TheOne'... the first is on my T1X Tikka and I've been very pleased with it.

I just got a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x40 for my purple PSA PA-15 AR.

Last time I had it at the range, it had a Holosun HS510c red dot and an HM3X magnifier.

Now my Del-Ton gets the red dot and magnifier.
